Brian Kao

Brian Kao has over 20 years of experience leading Data Science teams for big tech companies.  He currently works as the Head of Data Science & Analytics at Coupang.  His previous experience includes leadership roles at Apple, Amazon, and NBCUniversal.  He holds a M.S. in Data Science Engineering from the Samueli School of Engineering, along with a M.B.A. and B.A. in Economics. Brian is a passionate about the Data Science field and enjoys mentoring and teaching aspiring students and professionals. On his off time, he serves as a Technical Mentor for a program designed to help aspiring professionals looking to break into FAANG companies.  For fun, he is an avid collector and investor of sports cards and collectibles.
