Instructor Statement: There are literally millions of books published every single year. Millions. So why does the world need yet another publisher? Questioning this should be the very first thing that occurs after the initial impulse to start a press. Why should this exist in the world? By looking beyond the book, a publisher can have an impact that goes past products and sales, and become an essential and active member of a community, and create spaces and opportunities that contribute to and uplift a neighborhood, a city, a world.
