Corey Rathburn

Corey Rathburn’s experience as a Process Improvement and Operations Excellence professional in the Healthcare and Consumer Goods industries spans over 15 years. Currently, he runs his own consulting firm, Epic Consulting Services. Previously, he worked at Quest Diagnostics as well as HCA (Sunrise Hospital) as a Chief Staffing Officer and Associate COO. Prior to his time at Sunrise Hospital, he managed Patient Flow improvement at Holy Cross and St. Joseph Health hospitals. He also oversaw Global Operations of the Process Improvement program at Anheuser-Busch InBev. He began his career as a project engineer with Avery Dennison.

Corey received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Technology and Logistics from Purdue University. He earned his MBA with a focus on Healthcare Administration from the New York Institute of Technology. He is a certified trainer and event facilitator for American Society of Quality (ASQ). He has taught Lean Six Sigma courses for ASQ on Yellow, Green, and Black Belt certifications. He has also led training sessions in areas ranging from Value Stream Mapping to TQM implementation.
