Dan Beal

Dan Beal has over forty years of experience in developing, analyzing and implementing legislation, advocacy efforts, and public policy and programs, specializing in transportation issues. He was the Managing Director of Public Policy for the Automobile Club of Southern California, responsible for transportation policy and automotive safety research and advocacy. He was also the Director of Transportation for the Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles, and served in the City’s Office of the Chief Legislative Analyst. Following retirement from the Auto Club, he has been a consultant on a variety of transportation planning efforts.
