Dan McAuliffe
Civil engineer and construction management professional with project experience in the seismic retrofit, multi-family residential, hospitality, commercial and institutional market sectors. UCLA Extension Distinguished Instructor award recipient.
Daniel McAuliffe is a Construction Project Manager for Morley Builders where he has helped his team complete hospitality, parking structures, mixed-use multi-family housing, and educational/institutional projects throughout Los Angeles. Daniel is passionate about maximizing efficiency for all project team members, and he is particularly interested in building information modeling (BIM) and the implementation of Lean Construction techniques during the construction phase of the project lifecycle.
A California-licensed professional engineer (PE), Daniel completed his Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE) Construction Engineering and Management from USC and his B.S. in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego.
He has been teaching at UCLA Extension since 2013 and was the recipient of the 2019 Distinguished Instructor Award for the positive impacts he has made to the construction management certificate program.
