David has over 25 years of experience as a working professional.  His skills represent a multidisciplinary professional both as a team leader and team member. David is the principle designer and president of AROUNDYOU, Incorporated.  AROUNDYOU is based in Marina del Rey, California, within the greater Los Angeles area. The SQUIRES Studio is a full service design and management resource that emphasizes revitalizing sustainable environments both commercial and residential properties.

The mission at AROUNDYOU is to work around you, the client, as the center and focus of our efforts to realize a project that reflects your aesthetics, needs and way of life.   AROUNDYOU is a multi-disciplinary studio offering Architectural Design, Interior Design, Master Planning, Solar Planning, Landscape Architecture, Garden Design and Site Planning. The studio also provides project management services to ensure the successful realization of our plans, designs and specifications. Being well-versed as an expert in these disciplines offers our clients a unique opportunity to create a project of seamless efficiency and beauty.

David embraces unique challenges and learning. Diversity in terms of project type and size, location, as well as clientele is a trademark. David has completed over 80 projects ranging from home and commercial renovations, master planning, architectural renovations, historical renovations, interior design, garden design and landscape architecture. Project locations include Beverly Hills, California; Bel Air, California; Hawi, Hawaii; Palm Springs, California; Shelton, Washington; Saint Paul Oregon; New York City, New York; Breckenridge Colorado. David has also worked internationally as a master planner of theme parks and resorts located in Japan, Malaysia and Turkey.
