Eric Augusta

Eric Augusta is currently the Owner and Principal of Eric W. Augusta & Associates, a consulting practice based in Los Angeles that he began in the year 2000. His specialty is designing and building Excel-based, user-friendly high performance / productivity applications for clients. His client base includes a very wide swath of industries and company sizes, ranging from start ups to Fortune 500. He also conducts on-site Excel training at client companies. Eric began his professional career as a Financial Analyst with Ford Motor Company’s Product Development Division, located in Dearborn, MI. In 1975, he joined Xerox Corporation in El Segundo, CA where over a 20 year career he held various finance positions at their Computer Services Division (XCS), including Manager FP&A, Accounting Manager, Controller and VP Finance. During his tenure, XCS grew from approximately $30 million in revenues to $100 million. In 1995 he left Xerox and joined Century Computer Marketing in Marina Del Rey, CA as CFO. During subsequent mergers with Aurora Electronics and The Cerplex Group between 1996 and 2000, he also held positions as VP Strategic Planning and VP Finance. In 2000 he left The Cerplex Group to begin his consulting practice. Eric earned his BA degree in Economics from Cornell University. Following that, he graduated from Officer Candidate School and served 3 years as a US Naval officer aboard an Atlantic Fleet destroyer. Following his military service, he earned his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Eric is a member of Financial Executives International (FEI); an instructor at UCLA Extension, and is a Microsoft® certified Excel Expert.
