Eytan Keller

Eytan Keller is a multiple Emmy™ and Directors Guild Award-winning creator/producer/director, who has put his creative mark on a wide range of programs. He has also served as Executive Vice President of Alternative Programming and Specials for the Fox Family Channel. At Fox, he was the driving creative force behind the highly successful experiential Paranormal series, “Scariest Places On Earth” and the television event first, “Paranoia”, a live and interactive game that pioneered the use of AR/VR to create the signature “thunderdome of connectivity” studio environment. As EVP, Keller had a broad mandate to not only work with the creative community but also establish an in-house division that could develop and produce for the Channel. Keller had green light authority and discretion over his division’s budget. He was responsible for setting up domestic and international co-productions as well as forging relationships with advertisers and marketing partners for his division’s programs. In addition, Keller was charged with developing the programming strategy of his division and supervised all the business affairs aspects of the division.

His prime-time creative credits as an executive producer/director includes: “Iron Chef America”, an event series for Food network, for which he received the DGA’s Best Director Reality Programs Award. Keller Productions with Eytan as showrunner and director, just relaunched “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend” for Netflix, that received worldwide critical acclaim.

Keller’s range of programs includes “Food Network Star”; “Guinness World Records Unleashed; the ABC network series “Celebrity Mole-Hawaii”; the NBC television network special "Comedy Duos", as well as multi-year series, "World's Funniest Videos" and "America's Funniest People", for the ABC television network.

In addition, Keller was responsible for the development of the pop-culture phenomenon, “American Gladiators”, his vision for the series, which he also produced, has been credited for its success. Keller’s achievements were the focus of the recent Netflix documentary series, “Muscles and Mayhem”, that chronicled this groundbreaking competition series. Keller has created and executive produced many Network event specials shot around the world including competition game programs “Storm the Castle” and “Conquer Fort Boyard for CBS and ABC. His range of projects, sensitivity to material and storytelling ability are further reflected in the "Children of Terezin", an award-winning documentary on art and poetry created by children in a Czech concentration camp, during the Second World War. A film, which he wrote, produced and directed, that aired on the CBS Owned & Operated Stations.

Keller has pioneered the integration and use of VR/AR/XR in the unscripted production world. The first project was for the CBS' Emmy™ award-winning series "Secrets of the Cryptkeeper's Haunted House," which he created, executive produced and directed in partnership with Robert Zemeckis, Joel Silver and Richard Donner. The highly rated series was recognized internationally for its breakthrough, use of virtual reality sets and real-time animation. Keller used these same production enhancing techniques most recently for the reboot of “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend” on Netflix.

Keller’s entrepreneurial skills launched Zullavision, a high-tech venture focused on creating disruptive workflow solutions for content producers and content consumers. The company’s first product is a wireless tablet, ShotGlass, that has been hailed as a game changing workflow device. Zullavision counts among its clients Major

League Baseball, the NHL, the Academy Awards, The Tony Awards, The Emmy’s, Disney, NBCUNI, Iron Chef America, Paradise Run, Kids Baking Championship and multiple other shows on broadcast and cable networks. ShotGlass has recently been used by The California National Guard and CalFire to establish visual situational awareness, during a multi-agency disaster war game exercise. Keller lives with his family in the Brentwood neighborhood of WLA, CA.
