Joe El Rady is a financing, credit market, leveraged buyout and mergers and acquisitions expert, with significant capital raising, financial restructuring, special situations, corporate reorganization, crisis management, and turnaround experience across a wide variety of industries.

Mr. El Rady began his investment banking career at Houlihan Lokey, renowned as the top financial restructuring firm on Wall Street. Houlihan Lokey advised on 23 of the 25 largest bankruptcies in history, including Enron, WorldCom, and Tower Records. During Mr. El Rady’s time at Houlihan Lokey, the firm restructured General Motors, Lehman Brothers, and the sovereign debt of the Government of Iraq. Houlihan Lokey also maintains the top middle market investment banking group on Wall Street, consistently leading all other investment banks in deals valued less than $1 billion.

During his tenure at Houlihan Lokey, Mr. El Rady focused on:

Private placements of debt and equity securities in connection with restructurings, refinancings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, growth capital, and acquisitions. Creditor and bondholder committee advisory in connection with special situations, financial restructurings, corporate reorganizations and turnarounds. Leveraged buyout advisory to corporate and private equity clients. Private equity investments. Mergers and acquisitions advisory.

Mr. El Rady is Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer of the The El Rady Group, a private investment firm that manages approximately US$360 million of assets.
