Jonathan Smithers

Jonathan Smithers, P.E., UCLA Energy Manager:  

Mr. Smithers received a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Northridge and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo.  He is a licensed Mechanical Engineer in California and Arizona, a Certified Energy Manager, LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Carbon Manager.  He is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, ASHRAE, and the Building Commissioning Association.

Mr. Smithers has over 30 years of experience in developing and implementing energy efficiency solutions, including designing and building renewable energy and combined-heat-and-power energy systems.
