Justin Paul

Justin Paul is an award-winning creative director, DJ, record producer, and label founder with decades of experience in the music industry, academia, and innovative projects.

From launching record labels and directing award-winning videos to electrifying audiences at thousands of concerts and collaborating with top brands, Justin has carved out a dynamic career spanning A&R, creative direction, music production, touring, and visual storytelling.

Guiding more than 70 record releases, including several Beatport Top 10 hits, Justin has propelled artists on Underground Sol & Sun and Playloop to millions of streams and widespread acclaim. His own music and DJ sets have reached global audiences on BBC Radio 1, KCRW, KXLU, SiriusXM, Spotify, and YouTube.

Justin performs DJ and hybrid sets at iconic festivals and venues such as Pukkelpop in Belgium, Hangout Music Festival, Burning Man, the Fonda Theatre, and the Mayan. He forges strategic alliances with industry leaders such as AEG, Live Nation, and the Camp Bisco Festival. As a founding DJ of the PEX artist collective, he curates unforgettable events across Brooklyn, Costa Rica, Mexico, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and more.

Beyond his creative and executive pursuits, Justin shapes university curricula and mentors future music professionals through courses in music business, performance, production, and technology.

Since 2019, Justin Paul has taught A&R: Making Music From Acquisition to Release, Touring & Merchandising, and The DJ as Music Producer in the UCLAx Entertainment Arts & Music Business Certificate Programs.

He holds a Regents Bachelor of Arts from Marshall University with concentrations in computer science and film/television, and an M.A. in Music Business & Industry from West Virginia University, where he focused on label operations, concert promotion, marketing, publishing, and music technology.
