Katya Rodriguez

Katya Rodriguez started her career as a Buyer working for Siemens implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning system SAP and supply chain management.

Shortly after that, she joined Emerson Electric and worked as an International Buyer/Planner, doing business with countries such as Taiwan, China, Korea, Mexico and countries in Europe.   

At University of California Los Angeles she held the position of Contract Manager in the Strategic Sourcing Department. 

Katya Rodriguez was an exchange student in Odense, Denmark, received her undergraduate degree BA in International Business from the University of Guadalajara, her MBA Master in International Business Administration degree from the Nottingham Trent University, a CPM license: Certified Purchasing Manager, from (ISM) the Institute for Supply Management and a CGBP license: Certified Global Business Professional, from (NASBITE) National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators.

She currently teaches Business, Import/Export, and Logistics classes at Santa Monica College.
