Megan Wang

UCLA alum, Harvard JD and corporate attorney, Megan Wang was once herself an international student when she moved to U.S. as a teenager. The former Associate Director of Undergraduate Admission at the University of Southern California, Megan was responsible for all recruitment and enrollment efforts in the Greater China region (including China, Hong Kong and Taiwan). She directed the entire admission cycle from recruitment, assessment, to conversion. She traveled extensively visiting high schools, hosted more than 50 presentations throughout the region and in U.S., personally interviewed 250+ applicants each year, and evaluated 2,500+ applications every season. Additionally, Megan drafted policies and recommended strategies for the university’s overall international admission operations. Her efforts lead to a 270% increase in applications and a 146% increase in enrollment during her tenure. A regular presenter and panelist at professional conferences such as International ACAC, NACAC, NAFSA and EducationUSA. She also sat on the College Board SAT Committee. Megan possesses expert knowledge of U.S. college admission practices and is well informed of the latest overseas educational trends. She has advised not only countless applicants, but also counselors from various regions and education systems to help them better prepare students and parents for college life.
