Michael Hausknost

Born in Vienna, Austria, Michael Hausknost came to the U.S. in 1980. He started his career at Bank of America in 1984 before moving to City National Bank in 1991 where he has held several positions over the past 19 years, including the Chief of Staff post to the President of City National Bank.

 

He is currently the Sales & Service Executive for City National’s Private Bank, overseeing its strategic growth plan. In that role, his principal focus is delivering a differentiated service experience to high-net-worth families and professional services firms. Financial planning and learning every aspect of a client’s dreams, objectives as well as the overall family dynamics have become hallmarks of  his approach to serving wealthy families in California and Nevada.

 

Michael Hausknost is the President of the Board of the American Liver Foundation in Los Angeles while also serving as a national director. He is a principal fundraiser and advisor for Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times and a member of United Way’s Alexis De Tocqueville Cabinet.

 

He is an avid tennis player and has completed marathon races across the USA, including the Boston Marathon.

 

Michael Hausknost holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and the CFP® designation.

 

He and his wife Patricia reside in Long Beach, California and are frequent travelers to the great cities of the world.
