Orlando Flores

Orlando Flores AIA, PMP, LEED AP BD+C, CDT, CID | ACUE Certified Faculty

Orlando is a licensed Architect and Certified Interior Designer in California with over 15 years of experience spanning architecture, interior design, and project management. A dedicated educator, he has simultaneously spent more than a decade teaching the next generation of designers.

Mr. Flores currently serves as an Architect and Project Manager at HDR, a global architecture and engineering firm. His diverse experience features federal and state government facilities, multi-family housing including market rate and affordable living, hospitality, retail, and a few single-family projects.

Deeply committed to sustainable design and technical execution, Mr. Flores holds credentials as a LEED AP in Building Design and Construction by the U.S. Green Building Council, and a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification by CSI. He is also a credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP)® through the Project Management Institute. Complementing his practice, he is an ACUE-certified faculty member, teaching architecture and interior design courses at both UCLA Extension and College of Canyons.

Mr. Flores holds an Associate Science degree in Interior Design, a Bachelor of Architecture, and a Master of Interior Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
