Robert L. Henry

Robert L. Henry is a former assignment editor at KNBC4, the Los Angeles NBC-network TV station he was affiliated with for more than 29 years.  He worked on the award-winning top-rated morning news show “Today in L.A.” for almost 20 years during his tenure at KNBC4.  His numerous responsibilities included coordinating news coverage as well as assigning stories to reporters and camera crews. 

 

Robert has won an Emmy and two Golden Mike Awards given by the Radio & TV News Association of Southern California for “Best Daytime News Broadcast  (‘Today In L.A.’).”   His work also earned him NBC-Universal in-house merit awards.

 

A Los Angeles native, Robert graduated from Fremont High School, attended UCLA and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in print journalism from the University of Southern California.  He’s had a longtime affiliation with the Black Journalists Association of Southern California (BJASC), and also a former member of National Association of Black Journalists.
