Samantha Sprecher

Samantha Sprecher is an independent producer working in film, television, and branded content. She has deep roots in comedy, having run Billy Crystal's production company for 20 years.

While running Face Productions she developed and produced the independent comedy Here Today starring Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish; studio feature films America's Sweethearts and Parental Guidance, the award-winning HBO film 61*, the fx tv series The Comedians, the Audible original Have A Nice Day, and short content for Funny or Die.

Her current projects include Before a drama series at Apple; comedy series We Are Family at Netflix; a supernatural YA series based on the Christina Farley book trilogy Gilded; and an animated TV series based on Michael Feldman’s long running theater show Fairy Tale Theatre: 18 and Over. She is also producing independent films - the latinx romcom The Big Coconut, the psychological horror film The Nothing, lesbian romance November, and period psychological drama The Baroness.

Samantha strongly believes in harnessing the power of film and television to change hearts and minds. She knows first-hand the power of representation and that seeing your story authentically told is a powerful validation tool and change agent. Samantha was a long-serving Outfest Board member, where she helped establish the Screenwriting Lab, mentorship programs between filmmakers and industry professionals, and the Legacy Project (the world’s largest LGBTQ film archive at UCLA). She has also served as a mentor for Women In Film, she participates regularly in industry panels, and guest lectures at Universities.
