Steve is a veteran product design leader and user experience specialist with an emphasis on research, strategy, and psychology. His goal is to create useful and rewarding experiences that bring a sense of accomplishment and delight to people's lives. He has over 20 years of experience helping companies like SpaceX, BMW, Sony, Samsung, Google, and many others deliver delightful products and experiences to consumers and employees.

Built on a foundation of cognitive science, visual design, gaming, and the rigorous application of UX & UI design principles, his "Achievement-Centered Design" approach allows him to effectively integrate and apply a variety of disciplines to research, reveal, and solve a wide variety of problems for consumers and organizations.

He also has significant experience introducing companies and startups to user experience, helping them develop a UX strategy and process, and integrating design thinking into product and development teams. His extensive history working in various roles leading and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams allows him to quickly identify and integrate the needs and perspectives of various stakeholders, including management, clients, developers, product managers, and end users. As a leader and mentor, he strives to make user-centered processes easy to understand and apply.
