
Steven A. Saltzman
Music editor and composer Steven Saltzman has a diverse musical background. He earned a Bachelors of Music in composition and film scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston and has composed numerous films and television scores.
Steven has been music editing for over twenty years, earning a Golden Reel Award and four Golden Reel nominations. Some recent feature film work includes: After, Mary, The Package, Escape Plan: The Extractors, 24 Hours To Live, The Revenant, and Tides Of Fate, a David Ellison documentary to name a few. He has worked with many composers, including Tyler Bates, Klaus Badelt, Mark Mothersbaugh, Pinar Toprak, and Nathan Furst.
Saltzman has recently published the only current book on music editing: Music Editing For Film and Television, The Art and The Process with Routledge / Focal Press - Taylor & Francis Group. He is a new member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and has current membership with the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE), the Motion Picture Editors Guild, an Associate Member of The Guild Of Music Supervisors and the Society of Composers and Lyricists.
