Yetunde Daniels Rubinstein

Yetunde Daniels Rubinstein has worn many hats in her over two-decade career in education, always centering the voices and skills of those who are most at risk and systematically overlooked. An intuitive and passionate educational leader, Yetunde's professional career began in the undergraduate admissions office at Fordham University, spearheading partnerships with CBOs and other early college awareness programs. Eventually, she transitioned her work to focus on the secondary experience, beginning with Saint Peter’s Prep, where she spent almost a decade. Among many other initiatives, she crafted a college counseling curriculum, created a center for students with learning differences, and partnered with the ADL to introduce “No Place for Hate” programming. A brief stint in public education led to her training as a SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) facilitator. Yetunde’s approach to teaching, learning, and education is heavily influenced by her varied life experiences as an immigrant, DI athlete, and US Army military veteran. She is dedicated to impacting systematic and permanent change as a cultural competence practitioner offering novel solutions to old problems. She earned her Ms.ED in Counseling and Personnel Services and BS in Psychology. Yetunde is an Educational Leadership Consultant and currently serves as an Associate Director of College Counseling at an independent school in Los Angeles.
