Pediatric ophthalmologist in Santa Monica seeks a highly motivated recent college graduate for a full-time clinical assistant position in a busy specialty practice.
This position is ideal for a graduating senior or recent graduate planning a 1–2 year gap before applying to nursing, physician assistant, medical, or other healthcare professional programs. It offers meaningful hands-on clinical experience, close mentorship, and exposure to pediatric ophthalmology in a fast-paced setting.
Start date: Summer 2026 (June–July), with flexibility for an earlier start for the right candidate

Responsibilities:
- Patient intake
- Assisting with clinical flow and examinations
- EMR documentation and coordination of care
- Scheduling and communication with families and referring physicians
- Use of Excel for tracking and organization
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong academic background
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Warm and professional with children and families
- Demonstrated commitment to a healthcare career
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and data organization)
- Able to commit full-time for at least 12 months
Compensation and Benefits:
- $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience
