Partridge Designs is seeking a Design Assistant to support our design team through drafting on AutoCAD amongst other design related tasks. This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who is eager to learn, contribute creatively, and grow within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create AutoCAD drawings (plans, elevations, custom accessories/furnishing specifications)
- Organize and maintain drawings and design assets
- Conduct research and gather visual references for custom designs, as well as shop for home furnishings
- Collaborate with vendors and fabricators to manage custom furnishing production
- Help with invoicing and managing online orders
Requirements:
- Availability to work at least 3 days/week
- Bachelors Degree in related field or some schooling / experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Some office experience preferred
- Great communication & organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
