About the Venture:

We are an early-stage human-centric technology venture currently preparing for product launch.

The company is developing a platform designed to help individuals discover, articulate, and pursue meaningful ambitions and life goals, combining elements of technology, psychology, and social impact.


The founding team includes experienced entrepreneurs and startup operators working at the intersection of innovation, emerging technology, and mission-driven ventures.
This internship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the early marketing and go-to-market development of a startup platform, while applying concepts from UCLA Extension’s Marketing & Advertising curriculum.

Internship Learning Objectives:

This internship is designed to provide practical application of marketing concepts learned in the UCLA Extension program, including:

  • Market research and customer segmentation
  • Competitive landscape analysis
  • Brand positioning and messaging
  • Go-to-market strategy development
  • Digital marketing channels and growth strategies
  • Students will work directly with senior leadership and will receive mentorship and feedback throughout the internship.

    Responsibilities:
    Interns will contribute to several strategic marketing initiatives as the company prepares for launch. Work may include:

Market Research

  • Research potential target audiences and early adopter segments
  • Identify trends in personal development, entrepreneurship, and human-potential platforms
  • Develop research briefs summarizing key insights

Competitive Analysis

  • Map the competitive landscape across related platforms and services
  • Compare positioning, pricing models, and value propositions
  • Identify differentiation opportunities

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Assist with early launch strategy planning
  • Explore marketing channels and partnership opportunities
  • Support development of outreach and engagement approaches

Marketing Content & Messaging

  • Assist with early messaging frameworks and positioning concepts
  • Evaluate tone, audience alignment, and value propositions

AI-Enhanced Marketing Research

  • Experiment with modern AI research tools to accelerate marketing insights
  • Help develop efficient workflows for market intelligence and strategic analysis

Mentorship & Supervision:
The intern will work directly with the founding team and receive regular guidance on projects and deliverables.

Ideal Candidate:

This role is ideal for UCLA Extension students pursuing the Marketing & Advertising Certificate who are interested in startups, innovation, and emerging technology.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Interest in marketing strategy and entrepreneurship
  • Clear written communication
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and AI tools

Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment

No specific technical background is required.
