About This Course
Mindfulness, often looked to improve our attention, starts in the body. Based on the latest findings in neuroscience, the Feldenkrais Method® utilizes gentle, intentional movements to deepen self-awareness. In this course, we learn mindfulness in motion, directing attention to our body’s movements and sensations. Through walking, sitting in a chair, and reclining, we learn to release body tension, allowing our mind to flow and return to a pre-conditioned way of learning. Each session is unique, like a new crossword puzzle for the body. And because our imagination is involved, everyone can participate. Students are required to turn on their videos to allow for proper guidance and feedback from the instructor. Students must sign a waiver before participating.
