About This Course
Explore the rich spiritual landscapes of China, Korea, and Japan in this survey of traditional and modern East Asian religions. In this course, we trace the religious themes of Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism, and Shinto. Through a historical lens, we examine the pivotal historical events that have impacted these vibrant religious cultures. This course uses the Hybrid format which allows students to participate remotely and/or in the classroom. This course will be recorded. Students will have access to videos for the duration of the course.
