Introduction to Russian Bank

Russian Bank, also known as Klondike or Tunj, is a card game that is often cited as one of the best for two players due to its engaging mix of strategy and competition. Based on double solitaire, players aim to be the first to get rid of all their cards by building sequences. In this course, we learn the rules guiding the layout of cards and how to build on foundational cards by suit and ascending order. But watch out – make a wrong move, and your opponent shouts, “Stop!” and takes over the action. We also discuss strategies in a learn-as-you-play approach. This course is perfect for partners and solo students who want plenty of playing time with fellow card enthusiasts. Playing card decks (including large print) will be available for those who do not bring their own.
