Art Deco Splendors of DTLA: L.A. City Hall

Downtown Los Angeles hosts a dazzling array of Art Deco architectural wonders, embracing the clean lines and geometric patterns of the 1920s and 1930s. Art Deco provided a perfect style for a growing city, as the movie industry and post-WWI migration attracted new residents. In this lecture we explore the iconic Los Angeles City Hall. The tour ends at a local restaurant. Lunch is not included in the class fee. Students must sign a waiver before participating.
