About This Course
In this course, we follow the evolutionary path of orangutans from Western Asia to East Asia, which is the final home for the only non-human great ape outside of Africa. We discuss the ways in which they are similar to and different from humans and other great apes, and their chances of survival against the threat of habitat loss. This course uses the Hybrid format which allows students to participate remotely and/or in the classroom. This course will be recorded. Students will have access to videos for 30 days.
