We believe that anyone who wants a higher education should be given access and opportunity, because the key to success is access. In the spirit of that, we invite you to apply to the UC Excelerator. It’s a tuition-free program that provides open access to a UCLA experience that helps students accelerate their career potential. In other words, turning higher learning into Hire Learning.

Funded by a generous gift from UCLA alumnus, author, professor and entrepreneur Scott Galloway, UC Excelerator removes the biggest barrier to higher education: tuition costs.

We’re offering academic credit coursework, professional development and networking to help you set, and reach, your professional and personal goals without having to worry about the cost of these courses. If accepted into this program, you can earn academic credits and receive a record of completion from UCLA Extension.

We think you belong here, and one open door can be all you need to approach today’s most in-demand careers with confidence.

What is the Program?

  • The UC Excelerator program takes only two academic quarters, and is designed to help participants explore new career paths. Students select one of four courses in Quarter 1, and the required project management course in Quarter 2.
  • Our courses are taught by expert instructors in a live online format with scheduled Zoom class meetings.

All you need is a computer and reliable internet to participate, and you will be responsible for buying any required course materials. Your tuition is completely covered.

Once the program is finished, completed coursework can be transferable, counts toward certificates and specializations at UCLA Extension, and students are invited to attend optional events held at UCLA.
