Help navigating your student status.
UCLA Extension’s International Student Office (ISO) will help you keep track of your student status while studying at UCLA Extension. Our services include counseling on:
- Document preparation for F-1 student visas
- Visa status changes
- I-20 transfers from one school to another
- Temporary travel outside the U.S.
- F1 visa rules and regulations
The ISO reviews your enrollment every quarter and updates your status in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). We will contact you if any changes need to be made in your quarterly enrollment for you to remain in valid F1 status. Your ISO advisor must be notified in advance and approve any of the actions listed in the chart below that you may take.
