About this course:

It’s been said that we see the world not as it is but as we are. In this course, we will learn and apply different point of views to our stories in progress, incorporating fresh POVs to flash fiction, creative nonfiction, or fiction with exercises about the collective voice, second person, first person, omniscient third person, and third person close as we share our work. Students will take away craft techniques to shape their stories, will try out different perspectives to find what is most (or more) effective, and be able to validate and articulate their choices while applying these POVs to their work.
