UCLA Recreation is committed to providing high-quality recreational experiences that benefit the campus community, encompassing the competitive, passive, social, cultural, and instructional aspects of recreational activity. A broad range of recreational activities and services are offered at various facilities across campus.

UCLA Recreation Membership

Currently enrolled UCLA Extension students (Certificate and Non-Certificate) are eligible to purchase a quarterly membership to access UCLA Recreation facilities around campus. Membership includes access to the John Wooden Center, Drake Stadium, Pools, Sunset Canyon Recreation Center, Tennis Courts, and Bruin Fitness Center (BFIT).

Registration Instructions

Activation Steps 2-4 must be completed quarterly to maintain access to Rec facilities.

Create a Rec account if you are a brand new member. UCLA Extension students are not connected through the UCLA logon.
Email Member Services (info@recreation.ucla.edu) to request Extension student activation to purchase Rec membership at the 1-quarter student rate. Please include your full name, Extension ID number and program name.
The Member Services team will verify that your account is activated via email.
Once you receive email confirmation, sign into your Rec account account and purchase the Rec Membership online
