Group Counseling Skills
This course trains students in core concepts and applications of group counseling techniques and approaches used in substance use disorder treatment and recovery programs.

About this course:Students learn the core concepts and applications of group counseling techniques and approaches used in substance use disorder treatment and recovery programs. Using group demonstrations along with didactic presentations, students are provided an opportunity to develop skills to manage groups in early recovery.
