Blaga Angelow

Blaga Angelow has a MA in Archaeology and Ancient History from the University of Leicester, where she completed her thesis about public engagement with classical polychrome sculpture. She has experience in researching classical art, households and families in the past, text and material culture, classical reception, and classical landscapes. She is a gallery guide for school and adult groups at the J. Paul Getty Villa Museum in Malibu and has a passion for engaging audiences with the people and cultures of the ancient Mediterranean. Prior to pursuing her interests in archaeology and art history, Blaga earned an MA in teaching English from the University of Warwick, England. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, studying foreign languages, taking long walks, and gardening.
