Lucia Singer

Singer has a distinguished reputation as a strategic corporate communications professional and educator. Lucia, born with an American passport but in the city of Forio on the Italian island of Ischia, spent her youth traveling the globe with her family to assist her father in completing various documentary projects as a Medical Anthropology Professor. After graduating from the University of Michigan cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology, she joined an ‘ahead of its time’ web design firm, APPNET INC, as Project Manager to handle their production, marketing and public relations.

Moving to LA in 2000, she started in the "Biz" at Essential Entertainment where she launched and managed the reality show based content website Brash.com.   In 2001 Singer joined Howard, Berman, Martinez & Bakula, Inc. as a publicist and special event director.  Joining forces with Jann Berman in 2002 after the closure of HBMB, their firm Berman-Singer PR took off with family entertainment, health & beauty, hospitality, real estate and not-for-profit clients including such legends at the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus, Disney on Ice, Disney Live!, Coldwell Banker Southern California, and many more. 

She is privileged to share her knowledge base and passion as a teacher to undergraduate Loyola Marymount University students where she has taught PR 101 the past two years.
