Shao-Ching Huang
Research scientist and manager of high-performance computing research and projects. His primary research interests are computational fluid dynamics, large-scale parallel computing, parameter estimation and scientific visualization. Recently, he has been developing computational tools for turbulent flows in complex geometry with applications in engineering, medicine, and climate. His other synergistic activities include teaching parallel computing classes (e.g. MPI, OpenMP, and PETSc) to UCLA graduate students and researchers. He received his PhD in mechanical engineering from UCLA.
