Yvonne English

Yvonne English, registered landscape architect, licensed landscape contractor, and LEED AP, is the founding principal of Legends Design Studio, Inc. Her 18 years in multiple landscape design and construction roles grant her hands-on experience in all facets of landscape conception. Yvonne started her professional career in anything but a creative field. She spent several years as a software project manager and engineer. While the direction has definitely change, Yvonne still uses engineering to make her design solutions feasible. She has designed and installed lighting systems for the past 15 years. In 1995, Yvonne began training as a lighting designer with Bill Locklin, the inventor of landscape lighting and founder of Nightscaping. Her abilities expanded as she attended several workshops presented by Janet Moyer, the renowned expert of landscape lighting. Yvonne also attended Janet's 5-day/night professional Landscape Lighting Institute in New York.
