About this course:

This internship is an opportunity for Horticulture Certificate students to acquire appropriate hands-on experience in the field of horticulture. Certificate students research an appropriate business that they may intern and present this information to the program office for review. Internships are a minimum of 120 hours. Students interested in an internship should focus on an area within the field of horticulture that they are interested. A complete internship application and agreement form is required to enroll in an internship section, whether paid or unpaid. Only fully-executed internship agreement forms will be accepted. Students are responsible for reviewing and understanding the terms and conditions of enrollment, as well as policy AA102 Internships, prior to enrollment. Certain restrictions pertain to international students studying at UCLA Extension. Affected students should contact the International Student Office to verify internship eligibility prior to submitting an application.
Students applying for an internship must have completed half of the required courses in the Horticulture Certificate.
