Junior Interior Designer/Technical Design & CAD - Megan Weaver Design

Established Los Angeles-based interior designer specializing in high-end residential remodels and new construction is seeking a talented, detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer / CAD Assistant. Design firm has been hired to re-build several homes that burned down in the Pacific Palisades. This firm specializes in new construction as well as total gut remodels.

This hybrid position includes occasional job-site visits throughout Los Angeles for field measurements, contractor meetings, and project coordination.

The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD and SketchUp skills and can translate creative design concepts into accurate floor plans, detailed elevations, cabinetry and millwork drawings, and construction documents for contractors and fabricators.

We’re looking for someone organized, proactive, technically skilled, and eager to grow professionally while working directly with an experienced designer on exciting luxury residential projects.

Requirements: 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred, strong CAD proficiency, residential construction knowledge, and availability for local site visits.
