Litigation Paralegal - Russell & Lazarus

Our litigation team currently includes two paralegals, and we’re excited to add a third. Each attorney/paralegal team handles no more than 50 files at a time, ensuring manageable workloads and high-quality case handling. You’ll also receive direct mentorship from our Director of Operations, who brings over 30 years of litigation paralegal experience. In this role, you will partner with an attorney and assist in all phases of case development and litigation. 

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting complaints, pleadings, and legal documents
• Propounding and responding to discovery
• Organizing and reviewing medical records and billing
• Managing and responding to subpoenas
• Assisting with settlement preparation and breakdowns
• Negotiating reductions of medical liens and insurance reimbursement claims
• Supporting trial preparation
