About this course:

This course provides an intense and interactive training on the project management framework and foundation using a single project from start to finish with continuum across all five phases in a project lifecycle. Students work in groups as consultants and apply hands on experience using a real life project to maximize learning potential on project management processes learned from core courses. This course follows the actual practical sequence of process groups, from performing tasks during the initiation stage starting with the project charter first, then elaborating to planning activities, and executing work afterwards, followed by monitoring and controlling. Students track and drive processes by project performance measurement techniques and formal integrated change control systems to finally close the project, deliver goods or services, and document lessons learned. This course integrates a unique blend of iterative, adaptive, predictive, and visual project management through tailoring considerations and value added tasks. The concepts learned during the course could be applied to any project within any industry and with varying complexities, putting a sharper focus on the people, processes, tools, techniques, and technologies needed to successfully execute projects and meet customer expectations.
