About this course:
The chemistry, physical properties and microstructure of dental ceramics, acrylics, and metals; clinical concerns and choices with dental materials; mechanical testing and characterization of dental ceramics. Prosthodontics residents should understand the principles for the selection and proper use and selection of materials in order to achieve successful restorations. Basic knowledge of the thermal and mechanical properties as well as the microstructure of dental material is essential to analyze the causes of eventual failures.Corporate Education
