Anna Mendiola

Anna Mendiola is a licensed landscape architect with over thirty years of experience in private and public practice. In 2014, Ms. Mendiola retired from public practice after twenty-five years employed by southern California municipalities. In her capacity as Park Development Officer with the City of Long Beach, Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine, she was responsible for a wide array of capital improvement projects throughout the City, coordinating projects from conception through construction. Since that time, she has worked as a consulting landscape architect, working with landscape architectural, architectural and engineering firms, providing design, project management and construction management services.

Ms. Mendiola is a past president of the Southern California Chapter of ASLA and was a member of the State of California Landscape Architects Technical Committee. She also spent many years as a Master Grader for the Council of Landscape Architectural Review Boards.

Ms. Mendiola received a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science at the University of California at Riverside and a Master of Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
