Make the world better a place, one child at a time

When children receive an excellent early childhood education it has a ripple effect, helping to improve the surrounding community. And a great early childhood education starts with excellent teachers, just like you.

Our programs in Early Childhood Education are dedicated to professional excellence. Our curriculum, developed in cooperation with UCLA’s Graduate School of Education and Information Studies, is designed to meet the needs of both supervisors and teachers, and offers a stimulating blend of practical methodology and current research.

Highly respected, creative, and dynamic instructors present courses to a diverse student body throughout the greater Los Angeles community at convenient times and locations. Our online courses attract a national and international audience.

Both the Basic and Advanced Core Programs meet academic requirements for Title 5 and Title 22 regulations for Professional Growth Activities and apply toward Child Development Permits. Our Transitional Kindergarten program is directed towards educators with a multiple subject credential wishing to complete the requirements to be a transitional kindergarten teacher. The program is designed to fulfill the necessary California state requirements of 24 semester units/36 quarter units of early childhood education required for teaching TK.

The Early Childhood Education Core courses fulfill the Transitional Kindergarten requirements. The state requires the completion of 24 semester units/36 quarter units.
