The Vets Count Scholarship was launched in 2016 to assist our active, retired, and honorably discharged military personnel, veterans, and their immediate family members with pursuing their educational and career goals in financial programs.
Seeking an education during or after military service can be challenging for many reasons, especially considering the financial burden that comes with going back to school. Our main goal is to help remove this financial barrier and support our military personnel, veterans, and their families.
The scholarship will pay the registration fees for any two courses in the Financial Management Programs area. Only if a scholarship recipient successfully completes their first two courses, then the registration fees for an additional two courses may be awarded as well.
Next Step, Master's Degree?
In partnership with Cal State University Northridge (CSUN), UCLA Extension students who complete their Accounting Fundamentals coursework will receive priority admission* to CSUN's Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) degree.
