Adam Fischbach has over ten years of experience working in the fields of IxD and UX. He focuses on design systems, patterns and thinking, with particular emphasis on human computer interaction and user-centered design.
Adam began his career working in tech and startups and has most recently worked at major advertising agencies leading UX teams for well-known brands such as Honda, Volkswagen, Ferrari, Edmunds, Nestlé, Microsoft, ESPN, Netflix and Red Bull. Adam has an undergraduate degree from UCLA in Media Design and a graduate degree from Art Center College of Design in the Graduate Media Design Program.
With respect to teaching, Adam strives to foster an interactive design-based learning environment that leverages techniques and methodologies from design thinking and an overall iterative design process. He promotes group brainstorming activities, critiques and presentations in order to guide each student’s growth as a designer. At the end of the course, students should have created work of which they are proud and which can be added to their professional design portfolio.
