UCLA Extension Certificate Students
To access UCLA recreational resources you first apply for a Bruincard.
Once you get the Bruincard, you can join as a Student Affiliate for a nominal fee paid per quarter at the John Wooden Center. Permission to use UCLA recreation facilities will be added to the magnetic strip on your Bruincard.

The UCLA Library, with more than seven million volumes, ranks among the top three university research libraries in North America. You can read books and magazines or study there without an ID card or a library card. To take books home, you need a library card, which you can get for $28 at the front desk of the Research or College (Powell) Library.
The Westwood branch of the Los Angeles Public Library provides free access to computer workstations; you can get a free library card with 2 pieces of ID or a CA driver license.
