Cherie Hurwitz

Cherie Hurwitz is a senior product management executive and technology innovation leader whose career includes stints at eHarmony, Sony Pictures, and Yahoo! where she ran product management for Yahoo! Movies division and launched the largest high-definition trailer library on the web, reinvented Yahoo!s Oscar coverage and produced event guides for Sundance and Tribeca. Most recently she was at Maker Studios, which was acquired by The Walt Disney Company, where she managed systems enabling YouTube creators and social influencers to develop, publish and monetize their video content.

Cherie is active with The Television Academy, mentors with Girls Who Code, and is a speaker/panelist on digital media, interactive experiences and women in technology. Cherie graduated from the University of Cape Town with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She and her husband live in Los Angeles with their daughter.
