Judith Halle

Dr. Judith N. Halle

Dr. Halle has over 40 years of experience in nursing and health science, with research funded by NIH and American Academy of Pediatrics in the neuroprotection of hypoxic brain injury in the newborn. During her interdisciplinary doctoral and postdoctoral work conducted at UCLA's School of Medicine and Brain Research Institute, she received recognition by the International Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, as their 1994 Perinatal Nursing Scholar, and by UCLA as one of their Distinguished Scholars and the 1996 Graduate Woman of the Year. Following graduation she has had tenure-track appointments at West Virginia Wesleyan College, University of Pittsburgh and University of Charleson.  She has published in top ranked journals such as Brain Research, Journal of Neuroscience, and Journal of Perinatology, as well as written updates for clinical chapters in lead obstetric textbooks and reference books.
