Sandra Flores

Dr. Sandra Flores is a researcher, educator, mentor, advocate, consultant, and visionary leader in transforming early childhood education programs and higher education within a holistic student/educator support framework using the students/educators cultural wealth and lived experiences. With a robust experience in Early Childhood Education, Equity, Dual Language Learners, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Special Education and Neurodiversity, Leadership, and more, Dr. Flores empowers students through knowledge interchange and building upon their strengths through the use of their cultural capital. As a first-generation student herself, Dr. Flores can relate to and understand the challenges faced by students, and her efforts towards building a supportive and inclusive learning environment are truly commendable. Dr. Flores takes pride in advocating for high-quality early childhood education programs that are inclusive and in ensuring that students understand quality benchmarks and the importance of family and community partnerships.
